I really like the ICB and the ICTB and tend to use them over any of the other snaffle or shank bits I have (thankfully not too many!).
I switched my husband's Paint and our new Paint over to the ICB and I use the ICTB on my walker mare. Neither one of them has a problem with the ICB and Poco, my hubby's horse doesn't fight putting the bit in his mouth as much.
I need to buy another ICB so each horse can have his own bridle without having to switch out bits each time.  And I need to sell the old bits I don't use anymore.

Our 20 yr old mustang sucks on the bit, makes yummy slurpy noises when she's relaxed.  Strange, but she's happy and comfortable in the CGB.  Yes, it is different, but when folks see how relaxed and responsive my 4 yr old is in the same bit (I have 5) they almost succumb.  People are very set in their ways, and finding a better way will mean that for many years, they have not been kind to their horses, that's a toughy on male egos.  We gaiters don't pressure anyone, they have the right to choose, and their head tossing horses are just never going to relax into a bit that pinches them.

S'ok, my ride is sweeeeet.  I was even once accused of druging Gomer when he was two, but most have seen my mans giant TB relax into the CGB.  My sweetheart was quite sure his horse was sick, he relaxed and just walked (TB's trot standing still).  He knew something was wrong with his horse, he hadn't walked in 10 years.

I love my GOG gear.

Yeah, seriously I think we need to do some bribing or convincing for it. I would
LOVE one. See I want one because it's the most genius invention in bridle work
ever. And it's designer so I think it would meet Sunny's standards. And then when
I save up, by early next year I'll be getting her her very own 4 Beat Saddle and
Pad, and well I'm sticking to her lamb skin girth she loves. But she'll be the most
stylish well tacked out gaited pony.

*pokes Brenda* Make it in an Arab/Cob size again please?

*offers yummy fresh baked cookies* See I come up with great bribes!

Years ago, GOG offered the RNT in an Arab size. Lucky me. I have one!!! I also wish that size would offered again.

I use the ICB on my 13.2 hand pony, she LOVES the bit. Grabs it if I'm to slow in
giving it to her, that's how much she loves it!

Now I'm just tryin to figure out how much bribing I have to do with Brenda to get
her to start making the Ride n Tie in an Small Horse/Cob/Pony size so I can get one
that would fit my pony.

My husband makes fun of my horses mouth with the ICB in.  But I went thru many bits and this is the only one my horse seems to be happy in.  He only grabs the shank when put behind another horse and is nervous.  I know it is a keeper and I don't see anything to make fun of!

Hey kids,

I've used the ICB on 14h mustangs, qh, giant tb, mft, twh, hungarian warmblood, and a wide variety of heinz horses.  The response is the same, always better, though some are mouthier than others, they all still do well in it.

Several of us have made converts in the non gaited world. I've even loaned my bit to non believers and they've made the switch, even mules!

I used to get a lot of comments about riding my little mare with the ICB. Didn't matter if the horse is gaited or not, that had nothing to do with the comments about it sticking out of her mouth. Well, time passes and as it has, many of those who questioned my bit have since started thinking that is may be the bit for their horse, too. :) My horse (who generally hated bits) does just great in the ICB.

My little quarter horse loves her copper rollered ICB. She is 14.2 and the bit sticks out a little, more than on my 16 hand TWH (who also responds so well to this bit) Just wondering about other non-gaited ICB experiences. I do get questioning comments about what I'm using on her, someone said it looked harsh with long shanks. Is it too big for a petite horse?:)
