Oh my gosh, that was funny!  Thanks for sharing!

My horse, Bella is just the same, we were putting up a fence in the pasture and had it almost all done.  My husband said go ahead and turn them out, they won't come around me...on 5 acres...where do you think they wanted to be?  Right by my husband helping him...Bella started eating grass 2 inches from his feet...she has this huge area to run and play, but nope, she started stealing his tools, and she was just playing...so funny.  He also had a chain saw to cut the tops off the fence posts and he had that puppy cranked and she stood behind him just watching and would take the pieces of wood and fling them.  Most horses would be scared, not Bella.  She wants to help him build things as well.

Another time, my husband had just put the cover in the sprinker cover because we were having problems with this waterer...Bella watched him put this cover on and it is completely flat on the ground, it just fits in a circle.  She watched him put it on and proceeded to take it out and she pulled the wires that my husband had just fixed!  He about flipped out, so he said she was a genious, and he fixed it while she hovered over him and he ended up putting a screw in it so she could not lift it off again!  She is a genious...a thinker!  So funny!  I love it, it is like she watches and a i1 goes off, like I can do that too!  I am not a horse!  I am a human with 4 legs!to1

l1  I really like that for an avatar pic!

I think I'll send Shiloh your way, as he wanted to help put in a gate post this past weekend.

My dad struggled across the yard with an 80lb bag of concrete and balanced it on some stumps near the post site.  Of course Millie and Shiloh came to see.  My dad said, "Now don't you two touch that."  I turned and saw what he was referring to and as I was saying, "Don't leave that there the WILL play with it".  Shiloh pulled it off the stump onto the ground.

POOOOFFF

Gray dust filled the air.  And I started laughing!  So my poor day tries to pick up the damaged bag and get it into the wheelbarrow.

POOOOFFF   Again!

The bag broke the rest of the way and covered my dad in a fine gray mist!  I was laughing so hard tears were rolling down my face!  My dad finally broke down and laughed too...I mean, what else can be done?

Then he handed me the shovel!

Do show us a picture of Chocolate's completed abode.
:D

Great avatar! My horse did the same things when we were building his run-in.  Isn't it nice that they have a playful nature!

I was laying in his hay while all this was going on, so I got a few "funny face" pics.  Oh and ignore his bridle path, I've been trying to grow it out since I got him but my friend thought he was doing me a favor by clipping it.s4

BTW- does anyone see this as my avatar yet?  Cause I don't.

l1  I think my horse wants a carrier change!!!rl1

All the hammering on the tin roof sure didn't bother him!  He just hung around getting into trouble and stealing tools LOL.

I resized this one too small oops.... but he was actually picking up the ladder, it was so cute.

I think he is saying in this to "get down already, it's my turn!"chkl

He's watching the roof go on here.

Isn't he the best horse ever?? 1l..... now if he could just stop throwing me out of the saddle s4. lol
