I swear I am changing my hair color tomorrow! I didn't realize my pics in the post above never posted, Argg! ::) Anyways today I was cleaning his water. I had just scrubbed it and filled it with fresh cold water. He watches me for a min. then comes over, gets a big mouth full of grass, then sucks in a bunch of water and then stands there while it ALL runs out of his mouth back into his water! The water turned green and had chewed grass floating in it. I know he did this on purpose.... I'm suprised horses can't laugh. s4

Gare, how awesome to have a best friend as he is to you. Playing games with you. He knew just where to go, so he wouldn't get into trouble, to your wifel1.

I admire those that have a relationship as you and your horse have.

l1  Gare, that's funny!

Millie follows me around in the pasture too, but lately she's become possesive and won't let the other horses come near me.  s4

When i go into my pasture USUALLY my horse (JW) goes any where I go. He likes for me to rub him and just fuss about him :) I think its kind of neat the way he bonded to me . I raised him from a 6 month old. He has never been vicious the least bit. BUT i can never have any thing dangling out of my pocket or he grabs it and takes off with to make me chase him.

We were on a trail ride in Pennsylvania and were with a group of 2 guys and 4 ladys. When we stop and eat or any thing my horse likse to be near me . He just dosn't like leaving me. Well me and this other guy ride ahead of the ladys to do a nature thing for men . So we were about 500 yards ahead on the trail of the ladys and i am off my horse standing next to him with my reins looped through my arm. When all of a sudden i feel his TEETH on the top of my head and he grabbed my BRAND NEW (WHITE) Autographed Chris Cox baseball hat and poofe he snatched it off my head and took off running . We were about 15 miles from camp and i had no idea where he was headed . He had never left me before . Well he ran back to my wife with my hat and walked up to her and dropped my hat right in front of her. She laughed seeing him come up there with that hat in his mouth swishing back and fourth,  I am running as fast as i can and HOLLERING  for them to catch him because i had no idea where he was going. From now on i never have things in my pockets keep closer eye on him.

Thanks for letting me ramble on . he is not a mean or aggressive horse. But he can try your paitents at times. He just turned 4 so i think he is coming out of his childish ways

We were at the barn last week with the horses in their stalls.  A couple came by after a pasture visit with their horse, showing their young toddler all the barn kittens.  Son was in Dad's arm.  No problem.  On their way back they stopped to talk by our stalls and now son is riding Dad's shoulders.  Candy's eyes were huge as she mashed herself against the back wall of her stall.  Guess she had never seen a two headed, six six man before!  Once he lifted the kid down she relaxed quite a bit BUT I'm not sure she thought it was much better that this creature was capable of removing and carrying that extra head! l1

Here is another funny picture from our trip to Cedar Lake in March. We had stopped for lunch and my daughter's MFT remembered which saddlebags had the horse treats in them. He was trying to help himself. He was doing his best to open the velcro. LOL!

I like this post. We were camping at Cedar Lake in Oklahoma during our Spring break in March. Our SSH mare was being curious when I was reading the trail map. My daughter snapped this picture. I guess she likes to know where she is going. LOL!
