I love the pic too, Sharon! You both are looking good! So glad you had fun, but remember Lacey will be waiting for you at the next GOG trail ride, so don't give that up for good, just for now, right?

Spotted, I like the way you think.:)

Whatta, I actually met Brenda at the Equine Affaire at Columbus in 2005 or around there. So this was a remeet. (Is that a word?) I do love Brenda and Jake (I really mean that!) and feel like I'm with family when with them. Tina (The Blaze) and her husband Wayland are also wonderful and I had the best time yesterday. It's kinda hard to put in words, but I felt like this is the way heaven will be and we got to experience heaven on earth. I felt so peaceful and blessed (and we had FUN!).:D

Great photo Sharon,  yall look so happy :D

There were turkey's in my front yard as I was putting on a pot of coffee Saturday morning, we have friends that want to hunt our turkeys but I won't let them,  I enjoy watching the Tom's strutting around in front of the hens, plus I only see about a dozen or so,  I don't mind them hunting the deer, they tear my pasture fences up all the time so they can go bye bye.

Well, if your physical shortcomings don't show in pics. and don't show in your attitude, pretty soon they just won't show! Glad you are having a good time. I'm off to see Brenda at Equine Affaire today. I will tell her you are doing well.:D

We were laughing because I couldn't kneel down there and fan that bird's feathers. I was holding onto Neal and about to push him over. The guy taking the picture said he was glad we could laugh about it. We laughed a lot yesterday.

I have to be the luckiest hunter! Today was my first day turkey hunting and Neal and I each got a bird. We sat together in a ground blind and had six birds come in. We decided to try to both get a bird by shooting at the same time.

1.....2.....shoot! Neal's bird hit the ground but I shot over mine. I did a quick reload and got him with a second shot. Wow! Exciting! Now I've got fresh turkey breast in the fridge soaking in cold water. Will probably cook some of it tomorrow - another first.

Good luck! We've got turkeys galore but they get scarce this time of year.

Yay, Whatta! You go get them birds, girl! :) Btw, your top secret hunting spot looks like a little piece of heaven, too.

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Can't ride a horse so there ain't no Racking going on the Whattaracker so I keep my name sake through deer hunting and claiming the other rack. It gets me through the Fall months.

Now, I'm taking on a new adventure. Something for Spring and another something I can do from a chair. I'm going to try turkey hunting and our season opens tomorrow! I'm so excited!!! Hubby got me a shotgun for Valentines Day (how romantic) and I've been shooting it quite a bit. I'm as ready as I can be and I hope these birds are still feeding and fighting in my top secret hunting spot.

If I get a big Tom, I might have to change my name to WhattaBeard!

This vid is from our game camera at our secret location. It kinda takes "Angry Birds" to a new level.
