Awh, she's great. She looks like she has a magical energy inside her. I like Gidget and Widget and any sort of good witchy name, too. For some reason she reminds me of a witch. I dunno why - I like Piper, as in one of those TV witches.

Anyway, I'm glad Jake wanted to give you the special gift of a pup to love. That was really sweet of him. Happy Birthday, Brenda. I hope your day is awesome and you are reminded many times over how much you are loved and appreciated.

Lova ya!

She looks like a Gidget to me...and the possibility of beagle heritage along with her Cairn ancestors!

Wonder if she's also got dachsund in her based on the long body and short legs?  You're right, so homely she's adorable.

The rescue owner thinks she's part Boston Terrier?  I don't see it. . .

I looked up Cairn Terrier, and think you guys are onto something!

On her ad they called her both "Bridget" and "Widget."  I like Widget. . .

l1I think you called it, Tessie-socks and all! Sure looks Cairn-y to me, too, but mixed with what? Something longer bodied and longer legged.....hmmm...She definitely looks like she's got personality!

I caught Jake sneaking around on adoption pet sites the other day, and he admitted he was looking for a small terrier type dog for me for my birthday (don't ask!).  We have two larger dogs whom I love dearly, but I've always had a special soft spot for little terriers.  They are so charismatic and smart!  (Some of you may remember how grief-struck I was to lose Vinnie, my JRT, a few years ago.)

This little girl is some sort of mix, and so homely she's adorable!  I've been e-mailing her foster mom back and forth and we're trying to set a time when we can go pick her up.  She was found on the streets somewhere in Alabama, and transferred to a rescue center in Buffalo NY.  Now she's gonna be a country girl!

Here's a pic.

PS: What breed(s) do ya guess she might be?
