Maybe you didn't intend it to be this way, but I commend you for wanting to learn first and aquire second. There are lots of differences in the ways that different gaited breeds perform. You are likely to find the breed that suits you best long before you purchase one.

Most of us aquire a gaited horse not knowing anything about them and have to scramble to learn. You are ahead of the game here. Check out Brenda's Gaits From God dvds to learn more about proper gaited riding techniques. That will help when you get your chance to hop on somebody else's horse.
