The girl that does the For the Tennessee Walker Blog has posted responses and copies of letters written for - and I believe against- increasing the penalties.  I havent read through all of them but what I have read- the professionals letters- is impressive. 

Much more in support of increasing penalties than against.  Whew.  Many of those against were - shocker- previous violators.
