We've been able to ride a couple of times but it seems every time we plan to ride, the wind comes up and rains threaten. Most of our ride practices have been cancelled and because of the EHV-1 neuro in our area, lots of things have been cancelled. Fortunately, we've had a couple of really hot, dry days and there have been no other cases. I've got 3/4 of the garden in and have harvested some radishes but had to replant peppers, broccoli, cauliflower and cukes because some varmint (we think it was pack rats) chewed them off at the ground. Potatoes are in; got two of our kittens adopted out today. Had to take my 5-yo filly to the vet for treatment of her uevitis today so had two long, long sessions trying to get her loaded on the trailer. Missed the first appointment; husband came home and loaded her in about 30 minutes (whew!); called the vet and away we went. Will be treating her eye for three days. Otherwise, just working, mowing, cooking, washing, cleaning, vacumning, etc.
