Tessie, your thing about bugs reminded me of my bug incident. One hot summer day several years ago, I went down to the barn to relocate old hay to a different place to make room for the new shipment. Now, to get personal, I do not wear a bra around the house, so of course I did not have one on at the time. On the way down there, I noticed my neighbors had a huge crowd at their pool. So I start moving hay and when I got to the back I heard a loud rattle. I jumped back thinking it was a snake. Stood there and looked carefully and then I saw bees. So I went and got my trusty can of hornet spray. Pulled the bale back and discovered a bumblebee nest back there (the flat huge kind). I started spraying the nest and believe it or not a few of them took exception to that. They started chasing me down the barn aisle quite mad at the whole thing. One landed on my neck and I screamed, sending the terrified horses to the north 40. I yanked the t-shirt out from my neck and a couple of bees fell down inside it and started stinging me. So I yanked the shirt off, threw it on the ground and started jumping up and down, boobies bouncing free. Only when I was satisfied they were dead did I stop and think. OMG, how was I going to get back to the house? Didn't think the neighbors would appreciate my nonchalant stroll past them with no shirt on. I turned the buggy t-shirt inside out, scraped the bee goo off it and left. I now keep a clean t-shirt hanging in my trailer.
