 I'm truly sorry to hear of this.  Please take some comfort in knowing that very few people get to have a horse for such a special, life-long friendship.  He has served this world, and his people, wonderfully - a fully redeemed life, even if it won't be as long as you probably hoped and expected.

There is almost surely another very special horse who needs someone who has learned what Chance has so generously taught you and yours. . .
