goranbockman But don't get rid of the Pace, just save on it. From what I've seen of Standie's Pace it could well be trained to become a flying Pace, like Iceys have, and that my friend is an experience you do NOT want to miss out on.
I've only owned 2 that would do it, but they do exist.  Slow gait up to a trail rack, trail rack into a speed rack, speed rack into a flying pace with no noticeable change in gear selection other than speed.  Most will go to the hard pace unfortunately.  But yeah, that flying pace is a blast to ride!
