Thanks for sharing your story. I'm sorry your horse isn't with you any more but glad to know that you had some good years together after his illness. Taylor cannot be hand grazed. It is enough work just to get her out of the stall to clean it. The bandage will allow her to stand on the leg when she wants but she can't walk. She hops and it is sad to watch.

We gave her paste bute this morning and she enjoyed her feed without the 'yuck' in it. She did eat the 'yuck' feed tonight so that is good. I didn't give much money for Taylor but even so, I think she is worth the try and so we will. Still, our biggest enemies will be infection, founder, ulcers.
