This is all vary perplexing to my sister and I.

About 2 months ago my sister sold her solid palomino paint mare to a women in Texas. This was a horse she had for over a year.

Anyway the new owner just emailed her today saying that their pretty sure that the mare is in foal, and the vet will be doing an ultrasound Monday. Luckily she's not mad, and is exited about the foal, (IF THIER REALL IS ONE)

This is weird because all of our horses are turned out in their own areas and their all geldings. Now my 19 yo Paso Fino acts like a stud sometimes and a few years ago he did mount one of the other mares.

Is it possible we still have a stud and don't no it??? I was researching Proud cut geldings and it said they can't reproduce. Is that true???? what else could be going on with one of our geldings???

I guess if the foal comes out racking it could either be from my Paso or her Standardbred, or it may look like her little Halflinger. Those are the three it could be out of.

Guess we'll no more after the ultrasound Monday, I really hope this is a fake pregnancy. I would hate to think that we added to the already over populated horse world.
