Brenda,

I've been offline for a little and just now caught this thread.  My prayers are with you and know that as long as you lean on the Lord, he will support you and always be there for you.

Brenda,
I somehow missed this when it was first posted. I hope that things are better for you now. There is nothing that you cannot conquer as long as you have people that love you...and you have many.

A prayer and a foot in the stirrup for you - for God's guidance in all you are going through.  May the love and prayers from all your "saddle pals" lift you up.

Hi Brenda,

I too want to offer up a prayer for you to our Lord in your time of need and I will pray that he gives you strength.  He is your shield and your refuge.  He will strengthen you because your heart longs for Him.  He is with you always.  He is your God and He will help you when your burden becomes too heavy and He will uphold you in His righteous hand.

Feel the comfort of His strength.

Take care, I care.

Sherri.

First of all Brenda let me thank you for all you do for us.  Your teachings and guidance are appreciated more than you can know.  The saying is God never gives us more than we can handle.  Evidently he knows how strong you are and that you will come out of this turmoil on top.  Prayers and many thanks to you from NY.

Shorty

Hi Brenda,

I just caught this thread now.  I guess I'm better late then never.

I'll be putting a foot in the stirrup for you too!

Please take care of yourself during this time and prayers are sent your way.

Brenda,

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

You know my heart for your heart, my concern for your concerns, my hope for your hopes. Yes. Of course, I'll pray for you and praise God for the works He is doing in your life.

I love Malcolm's suggestion. I've been riding without stirrups on a bareback pad lately, but every time my foot leaves the mounting block, I'll think of you Brenda!

My prayers go out to you Brenda  for strength and resilency....  I have always loved this prayer:

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference."

Hope, LOVED your post!!!!  I have the same attitude - many turmoils recently and the "this too shall pass" attitude and my strong faith in God has just rolled me right through the past events.  There is a lot of "ugly" out in the world and some of it has knocked on my door; doesn't mean I had to let it stay.  .  .

Here's to happy trails for everyone!

I met a wise man from Peru last year. He was talking to me about how to approach life and its obstacles. He likened life to a river. He said watch how a river deals with an obstacle, say a large boulder. At first the boulder stops forward flow. The river slowly builds and gains force behind it, and when the time is right, it simply  flows around it. I try to do that in my life when confronted with the seemingly insurmountable. Just be patient and true to your ways and the path will be cleared for you.

Over the years, I've encountered adversities that I was sure would do me in...however, as each challenge was resolved...new opportunities have manifested themselves...life got BETTER!  Embrace the adventure!

As I've gotten older, I've made the choice (it becomes easier and easier) to see and appreciate my blessings.  To envision a pleasant future, rather than to dwell on the concern at hand...I don't even want to think in terms of battles any more, I don't want to attract or encourage negativity.

Wishing you and everyone else much happiness and many blessings!

Just to make sure we have prayers all around I'm mounting from the right side!  Prayers from NH.  I'm always repeating this phrase,  If He leads you to it, He'll lead you through it.   God never gives us more than we can handle.  Cowgirl Up!  Jen

Malcolm

I think this is a great idea.

Brenda... Thank you for all you've given to us, with out you, there would be no us.  My thoughts and prayers are with you, for guidance and support.   I pray that God will release you from these "issues" and bring you back to us.
