Yesterday, on my way to class, I made a stop at the convenience store for my morning diet coke, and had to stand in a pretty long line to pay. A man in front of me was trying to pay for two hot dogs (and you thought diet coke for breakfast was weird) and a drink with a credit card that wasn't working for him. He had no other way of paying and leaving his breakfast on the counter stepped away to make a phone call, presumably about the non working card. I remembered how I felt when I had gone through the drive-through at McDonald's one day to discover the person in front of me had gifted me with a free breakfast. So you know I had to buy this man's breakfast, and I was trying to do so and get out of there without being caught at it. It didn't happen quite that way, though, and I didn't get away annonamously (SP?). There were some people in back of the line, joking about me paying for their things, too, but I had a sense that everyone there felt like they were in on my good deed or at least approved. I know that I got just as much a blessing as the man who got breakfast!

PS - I usually don't share about these things, they are very private to me. But because of Brenda's prompting to share, I decided I would this time. :)

Thanks for sharing! I feel like I'm more with that "My life is now" since I got Bailey. He helps me appreciate each moment rather than thinking "When I finish college..."
