The Ride-N-Tie is just a great product. If any of you are considering a halter/bridle combo, please consider the Ride-N-Tie. I have friends with the "other" brands and the quality does not even come close. I have/had the leather one (I say had because my hubby stole it from me). I am planning to purchase another. Does anyone have the beta one? How do you like it?

I don't have the Ride-n-Tie, but both my bitless bridles are in black beta.  It is a wonderful material to care for - dump in soapy water, rinse, let dry - all very quick!

The leather one is super classy looking, and I will probably order one in the future.

Hey WR, i have both leather and beta, I like the beta because I am tired of cleaning leather, although if we go on a showoff ride I use the leather, The beat is lighter and the lighter (weight) reins take a little getting used too, but I like it, plus you can hose it off or throw it bit and all in the dishwasher-just DON"T run the dry cycle, I just hose mine off.

My new RNT bridle and Comfort Gait bit just arrived this last Saturday - of course they arrived after I just got back from a trail ride.

I am trying them on my Paso this evening - we'll go around the pasture a bit and see what he thinks.

The workmanship on both is great (my RNT is the black beta - I too am tired of cleaning leather) - now to put it to the test with my gelding!

My friend has the RNT and she loves it.  However, my horse's head is too large for the RNT so I had to find another halter/bridle somewhere else.  I actually measured my horse and went shopping to find one large enough.  Hopefully one day they may make them a little largerw2

Finally I HAVE A RIDE-N-TIE and I don't have to worry about hubby stealing this one. Taylor needed an Arab size and it fits her beautifully! Arab size available upon request, so if it's what you need, ask for it!

I really like the beta material, but have yet to buy the RnT. I really don't like to tie my horses up w/ leather than can stretch, deteriorate or break under pressure.

OllieUp we have made small draft sizes for those with the really big heads.  You have to call and ask for one special but we do do it.

Here's Taylor in her new Arab size Ride-N-Tie. It's working out great. Very convenient.

Hey, Taylor's ears are on backwards. . .l1

Couldn't resist, WR.  She's so pretty - what a great picture of her (and the RnT).

We were 8-10 miles into the mountain ride when this was taken. The temps were in the 90's so she looks a bit dark on her face. Thanks for the compliments and TG, your shoed are untied! :P

Taylor is pretty, pretty, pretty!    I'm looking at finally breaking down and getting that ride-n-tie...  Does the browband detach, and can you use it without one?  Or is that how the bridle part snaps on?

How do you know if you need an Arab size or regular.  On the order page, it doesn't have sizes?

thanks

shimz

Very nice!  Did you get the beta or leather, I can't tell.  That looks to fit really nicely.  Some of the others don't fit as snug, looks good!

I'm going to take this picture of your horse to my local tack store where my friend works!!!! I had called her and asked her to bring me 3 halters for my new Walking Horses ( I had just got them) she sends me 3 halters that were SWIMMING on their heads, even on the smallest hole I could slide them off their heads!!! I asked her what size she bought me and she said large, aren't they Tennessee Walkers? l1

I told her a lot of Walkers have smaller heads, not like the old days. My stallion wears Arab size tack and halters!!!!:D

It's kind of funny.... and sad, people still think of Walking Horses as big headed padded up weirdo's!!!:?

Thanks guys. The Ride-N-Tie on Taylor is the leather pecan one. The halter has the browband. Then the second part is a bit hanger that easily goes right over her head, behind her ears and staps nicely to the halter's browband. Colored browbands are available. I see no reason why the bit hanger could not be used separate from the halter. The fit is much better than any I have seen. See how nicely it conforms. The bit hanger aligns beautifully with the halter. Taylor is in the arab size and hubby's QH wears the regular size.

My TWH gelding is one of those "old time" honkin' big headed horses.  :DI have a heck of a time finding bridles to fit him and ended up buying a cheapie nylon bridle set just so I could try out the ICB on him.  He is 20 years young (because he acts like a 2 year old), and I don't ride him much, but we had a blast that day trying out the GOG gear on him.  He really started to listen to that ICB!

I have a Saddlebred that has a very long head, believe me we've been the butt of many jokes, all in good fun of course. I just say the bigger the head, the bigger the brain! :)
