Sounds like a good time. $75 includes 6 meals and cover charge for a band. Throw in single-footers and a trail ride. Not a bad deal imo. On the website one of the riders favors you Rockin! But he is riding a black horse. If you go I hope you have a great time!!

Wasn't me, although I've got a black gelding who's just a tick faster than my mare.

Then there's the Blue Barrell who's awful fast if you can keep the weight off of him, LOL.  Also have a dark bay with a mane/tale like Rocket, but he's a "lazy pacer" ..... gotta keep pushin him a bit or he'll relax and do a bit of a step pace.

We will be there, of course.  And we're looking forward to it.  We've got 320 riders signed up so far.  It is going to be a blast.  Anyone is welcome to come.  The entire campground at East Fork is full with the exception of a handful of primitive sites.  There will be lots of day riders and spectators joining us for the exhibitions on Friday and Saturday.  Come join us!!!!  Check out the best Single-Footing horses in the world!

We just barely made it into the primitive area.  However, since I sold the trailer with the living quarters, Becky has to sleep in the stock trailer anyhow, lol.

It will still be worth it. I would sleep in the wide open just to see those horses. I was coming without my horse just to watch. Shhh we need to keep quite or everyone will want one. HeHe.

Oh, it aint so bad ..... there was a time when horse trailers didn't even have a living quarters.  We'll just power wash it, throw a mattress in the goose and put some indoor/outdoor carpet on the floor and call it home.

As soon as she gets rid of her 1/2 ton Cheby, and gets a real truck, I'll buy another trailer with living quarters.  When I'm on the road with the big stock trailer, the 12' bumper pull stock trailer is about all her Cheby wants to handle.

Almost that time again. This time I have plans of being there. Yay!!!!

It will be my first time at the SHOBA ride and I am excited.

I plan bringing "No Name #1" and a new mare named "Cam", my son will be riding "No Name #2".

NN1 has really come a long way. I don't know if I will even speed her at all but she is ready to slow trail ride without fighting me and slinging her head.

Cam should be ready for a little race action.

My son (he's almost 8) thinks that he and NN2 will be ready to take on Ben Smith. I told him I don't know about that, Ben and Reba look really fast on the video, but he thinks they are ready.

I know we are going to have a blast.

Rob

I will look for you there. It is going to be my first year and I am going without a horse the first time. Just want to take it all in. I will look for you. Look for me selling T-Shirts. I think they are putting me to work!

My boyfriend and I are leaving for Jamestown this Sunday to spend the whole week riding and watching the festivities.  We're bringing his two horses (both TWHs) down; my horse is staying home on "vacation."

I'm looking forward to it!!

I should be there around 7 Thurs evening. I am back to not bringing a ride although my girlfriends are bringing thier horses. My gelding started showing Neurological symptoms on Sun. and the vet is thinking EPM. I am waiting on the test to come back. I don't want to rush my youngster so I will not have a ride. No big deal I am just excited to be coming. Hope to see everyone there!

Darn. Did the celebration cancel or was it a personal cancellation? I hate to get my plans moving forward then have to back up the train. I hope all is well with you.
