Just wanted to share a picture I took of Cruz today in his dark winter coat, his sabino white pattern shows up so pretty, very splashy. Here is the fat boy eating some hay today in the paddock, I did not touch him with a brush so he has bits of mud and shavings stuck all over him.  [/img] [/img]And one below is right before Thanksgiving in his summer coat clean and groomed.  [/img]

He is SO handsome. I love a horse in his winter coat, the feel of the heat under his mane, the smell of hay around his muzzle, all the fuzzy hair in his ears and his long feathers at his feet. Now you've started something. I can hardly wait to see horses in the snow pics . . .

Thanks, on our last riding trip I heard someone say as I passed by them on Mira wow look at that horses coat it looks like black velvet, she does have a super soft winter coat. But I hate fuzzy ears and leg feathers and Cruz is actually a Black Sabino but he does not get jet black more of a dark charcoal, his pattern shows pretty in winter but I am a sucker for a "Blue" animal umh really silver. One time someone asked my favorite color and I was not sure till I got home that afternoon, I drove up in my blue car to my blue house and went in to blue carpet and blue tile countertops and was met at the door by my blue cat and the blue bird I had in the house, so I guess Blue it is, in the real since of the word Or the silver blue of an animals coat.
