Yes, I believe she did mention she purchased it used. However, Bobby Beech at NBS has an excellent trade policy. She can send the used 4B saddle to him and he will use it towards a trade-in on a brand new one, which she will have a trial period on. She might get more selling it privately and then purchasing a new 4B but it's hassle-free this way.

So....how do we see what used models may be available at National Bridle Shop? I never saw any on their website.

I doubt you'd see them on the website. They are trying to sell new saddles and probably wouldn't advertise the used ones. I would just keep calling NBS and asking, or leave your name and number and ask them to contact you when they get a trade-in or a returned one.

f1j1 You are very right about this. I did purchase from ebay. So any type of trading could not happen. I do love the saddle though and will buy a wide. Thank you

Ayla, NBS will take any saddle as a trade-in (well, almost any saddle). I'm sure they would be very happy to get a used 4Beat as they would be able to sell it pretty fast. They will essentially buy your old saddle if you get a new one from them.
