I was thinking we had twenty to twenty five at the Saturday night cookout, wouldn't you say?  Then at the mini clinic we had about a dozen riders?

oh yes, I would agree with that assessment, Karen.  It was just the right amount of people to get to know and be able to speak to just about everyone.

I just wanna say . . .I am soooo jealous!  I really wanted to attend but work, home commitments, and long distance worked against me t1

Sounds like you all had one heck of a great time.  Hopefully I will be able to make the next GOG get together.

You were sorely missed by all, especially LaVonne and I!

Hey, LaVonne, I think we might have seen her in the saddle again, don't you?  Something I keep dreaming about...   w2

I think I missed speaking to several people Saturday night. The trip just about wore me out and then those steps into our cabin . . . Wow. By the end of the night, I had to pull myself up with my arms. Our cabin was missing the lowest step so the first one going up was quite a stretch for me. After many times up and down, I just had to call it a night. I knew if I went down one more time, I'd need someone to push me back up. I don't know how long the gathering lasted after that but we were in early.

We entered the central time zone and our bodies were still on eastern time. So we went to bed early and got up early. Hubby had never been in another time zone. In fact, EF was his record distance from home to date. He's practically a travel virgin.

Whatta, you had good therapy climbing steps though!  How did Neal do with his broken arm?  Sounds like just the right size group to get to talk to everyone.

We really did great and we took two of the most awesome people who love us with all their hearts. We had plenty of help when we needed it. My super wonderful husband still watched out for me as though he was healthy as could be. I'm blessed all over, inside and out. tu1

Yes, our trip was good therapy for many of us.  Whattabutta and I felt as though we were getting together like long-lost sisters.  (She's the evil one. . .) :)
