 r1 Hi I had a MFT years ago best horse --dead broke could ride him with no tack

looked like a big QH gray wonderful attitude --my friend and i are loooking at going to cal coast to ride gaited horses and get r & R  mary

 I live in southern Wisconsin.  Would love to meet others that want to hit the trails! (although with hunting season and winter approaching trail riding opportunities are dwindling). 

I usually hit Governor Dodge, Lake le Aqua Na, Horsemen's Park in Palmyra, Kinnickinnic and smaller county parks in my area quite a bit during the riding season, but would love to go to some new places.

No - not that far north.  I'm about 3 hours south of Duluth - but my family has a cabin about an hour from there.  I like to take the horse up that direction......  nice riding. :)

 Hi TrailTrekker,

I'm in Wisconsin about an hour east of La Crosse.  Kendall little town between Tomah and Elroy.  Glad you joined the board!  I have a little TWH named Cooper and I love riding him.  I don't get a chance to gait him much as we are trail riders and ride here on the farm trails which are usually walk only!l1  I also am riding with my three granddaughters who are not on gaited horses and are all beginning riders.  I would love to switch over to all gaited but can't afford to do that right now.  The few times we cross fields and I can gait the girls are troting and they are happy.  Go figure!!!w2

 Thanks for the quick response. As soon as I get a little ground and arena work done on the horse or horses you bet, we will connect. What is your horse set up. We have 120 acres and some cut trails.
