We are just starting to dry out. Roads still have water on them. My yard is such a muddy mess and I am sure we are set for more rain today and this weekend. Yuck! When is spring going to be here. And to think this time of year is my favorite. rsmoody

This Friday-Sunday our boarding barn is having a clinic with Matt McLaughlin & the barn manager will be riding Logi in a session this evening. Last night I re-trimmed the trace cut on his neck & chest & washed his tail again. The forecast was for (more!) rain, so I put a sheet on him & tied his tail up. When we get him ready tonight, we'll just have to remove the dirty sheet & tail wrap instead of trying to clean a filthy, hairy horse! l1

Hello all, I got to go again today. There was 4 of us and we had a great time. Casey was good and didn't get as excited as last weekend. The lady who rode the Icelandic and Paso was on another Paso today. He gaited right along. The weather was sunny and 56 so good riding weather. It was youth hunting today so we all wore orange and hoped for the best. Only heard a few shots and they were shooting over and over so I'd say they were more target practicing that hunting. Looks like this is the last week of good weather. Hope you Easterners are drying out. We are still waiting on rain.
