This is my new horse Clyde. This is the video that convinced me to buy him.... guess I should of asked all these questions before I bought him. He is my first gaited horse and I just fell in Love with him. I am still trying to figure out what gait is what???? This is the only video I have of him so if anyone can look at it and tell me what he is doing.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmeZanOXrQ0When I build up more confidence maybe I will have a new video of Clyde and me. He is really nice!!! From what I could see, my novice opinion is he is racking. He sure looks nice and smooth.

I can see why you fell in love with this guy, i did too. Looks like you chose very wisely! Congratulations! Nice stout guy, should make a great trail horse. I agree, i think racking also.

It looks like a rack to me as well. What is he double registered as? Kentucky and Rocky is my first guess.

I can hardly wait to see a new video of Clyde. He seems like an awesome horse and there is no doubt about his gaitedness. I think his ability will be better shown in a gait only video. The gaiting portions on this vid where kinda short and I think I saw him racking, foxtrotting, and some step pacing which would be normal for short clips and riding on various footing.
