"Received the saddle today and even though it is very cold out, we tried it on my mare and I rode for a short while. It fits her better than any saddle I have tried and I have gone through several! She did seem looser in front and more relaxed. I really like it!!!  I will probably be getting one of your pads but may wait until you come to the Equine Affair.

By the way, we are going to try the saddle on our 3YO Fox Trotter. Cliff really liked the way he set in mine and may get one too. He currently has a **NAME BRAND DELETED**.

Thanks again. We look forward to seeing you at the Equine Affair."

"When I bought my 5.2 h Missouri Foxtrotter, I did not know that saddle fitting would become a problem. I used my Quarterhorse saddle and thought it was fitting fine until I went with friends on a 2 -3 hour trail ride. The problem started after one hour on the trail. My horse became disobedient, shook his head, waived his tail, and broke out in a big sweat. I realized that something was wrong with him. I dismounted and walked the three miles home with him. The next day, I took him to our local tack store. The people working there measured my horses back and measured my saddle and said, "this saddle fits your horse perfectly". A day later, I saw a big bruise behind my horses shoulder.

I turned to the computer and ordered a gaited horse saddle from a well known saddle maker. Saddle arrived, saddle did not fit, saddle went back. I paid $38 shipping plus $50 restocking fee. I thought, this can become really expensive. When I found the Gaits of Gold Website I appreciated all the free information about gaited horses and saddles. It just "felt right" to me and I ordered the 4 beat saddle. When the saddle arrived, I knew immediately that this saddle was right. I was born and raised in Germany and quality is a big issue for us. The soft leather combined with great workmanship is what I was looking for. It fits my horse perfectly.

Several of my friends have tried my new saddle and liked it...but they are still looking for a cheaper one. Good Luck friends, ha! "

"Dear Gaits of Gold,
You'll probably remember me from all the questions I had about purchasing my saddle, which, by the way, you answered very well. Well, I didn't get to do a lot of riding in Aug, due to some family problems, but I have been riding more lately and just wanted to tell you that I do love the saddle and am really getting used to it.

It was an adjustment for me, after being in an Aussie saddle for so long, but now find this comfortable and the best part is that my Paso Fino is finally gaiting more evenly and consistently. We had a largo today that felt like we were flying! Everything else is the same, so it must have been the saddle I was using previously. I am also finding that my horse likes my weight farther back..I am usually a more balanced seat rider, but I think I have found the right balance for him now. Well, just thought I would let you know that I am another satisfied customer and am VERY happy that I went with your saddle."

Thank you!"

"I have had the saddle on three different horses, including my Walkaloosa
mare with the scar tissue on her back. All three mares seem quite comfortable in it & are moving out happily. The rider is happy too ! Thanks ! "

"Dear Gaits of Gold Inc.

Just tried our new saddle!! Boy is it GREAT!!! We are going up to try it on some of our other Rockies and will be ordering another one. We could immeadiatly tell a big difference. Liars' gait really smoothed out."

Thanks! Melissa, Illinois

"Dear Gaits of Gold,

Happy to let you know that I have started to ride my young foxtrotter with the 4-beat saddle. We are only doing easy arena work, but the saddle is great for both horse and rider. I have two other saddles, and the 4-beat is by far the best. Thanks for your excellent product at a reasonable price."

"I have finally had the time to put lots of miles on my Imus 4-Beat Saddle outside on real rugged, hilly, muddy trails. I love it; my horse loves it and he now walks down hills in a relaxed balanced manner. With my wooden tree roping saddle he was walking very stiffly and had white hairs forming on his withers. THOSE are GONE! I have one friend that has gotten the saddle for her Foxtrotter and loves it, and another friend that is saving up for one for her Foxtrotter. My back is not hurting all the time and I can ride twice as long in this saddle as I was able to in all other saddles I have had. Thanks for a great product!"

"Just wanted to let you know that I now have been riding in my new saddle and I love it!

It fits me and all of the horses I ride--- except one, and I expected that. It seems like they go right into the running walk immediately upon asking!"

"I absolutely LOVE my saddle. The equipment is working so well. I also use the Ride N' Tie as my regular gear. Again, it is very different than what my friends are used to seeing! Russ and I are out several times a week, slowly working up his stamina. (He is slowly working up mine as well).

Take care and God bless--I will continue to send customers your way. Please tell Brenda that I enjoy her horse-pirationals™ as well."

"Dear Gaits of Gold,

My saddle arrived today! I happened to be home on my day off, so I promptly got out my muddy Foxtrotter and took a ride. I absoultly LOVE it  and I know my horse does too!!"

"Dear Brenda,

Got the chance to ride Lorraine F. . .'s 4-beat saddle today and my horse loved it, in fact the instructor said not to put a saddle on her again till my arrives. She moved so much freer and started to really gait. . .Supposed to go for a 3 day horse weekend lst weekend in June, Any chance........I could have my saddle by then. Hoping and praying... Thanks so much!"

"The workmanship on my saddle is awesome and I think my Missouri Foxtrotter is a much happier boy with it. I can't wait for warmer weather to put some miles on it. I think I better order the breastcollar too!"

"I have to tell you how much I like my new 4 beat saddle. I have a great Tennessee Walker (the national english trail pleasure champion from Walking Horse Report) "Willie" and we both love our saddle. It is comfortable for me, and my hose can really use his front end and not be pinched or need a special pad. We are big fans, and I have a lot of interested people from Oregon and Wasghington in your products. If you want to sell more saddles, send me a brochure, and I can pass them out at our shows or club meetings."

Sincerely,
Betsy Oakes, Portland, OR

"I have ridden in the black Western 4-beat saddle twice since it arrived a few days ago. . .You will be happy to hear my Missouri Foxtrotter definitely moves out better on the trail these last 2 rides. No more stiff, short, trotty stride. Your excellent design of this saddle gives the "center of gravity" rider position, flexible tree system, set back rigging, and with the wonderful cushioning will be highly recommended by me to my riding buddies with gaited horses. My horse demonstrated a looseness and reach that I had lost the last year when I was using a hard ralide tree western saddle."

Thanks again, -Deborah Thorse

"I simply adore riding in my new saddle. I ordered the Endurance saddle in rich pecan with the matching stirrups. Oh my goodness, I feel so comfortable. My horse and I were able to go riding for 3 hours last week and neither one of us was the least bit uncomfortable. This is a "big" deal here as I have a connective tissue disorder and my horse is 15!

Thank you very much for your help in choosing this saddle. I work for a non-profit therapeutic riding program (Ride & Shine) that caters to disabled children and adults and live in a gaited horse community. It is my goal to have everyone I work with or ride with try my saddle. I know that once they try it, they will want one. I will definitely send them your way. Blessings to you and all your efforts to improve life for our four legged friends and their riders!"

"Oh, I wish you could have seen William go in your saddle. I rode 4½ hours on Saturday, and 4 hours on Sunday, on the weekend ride you expedited the saddle for and I don't think he did 3 steps of pace the whole time! I fell in with a woman on a TWH and our horses FLEW down the road in a running walk that just about had me in tears... it was SO MUCH FUN!! Thank you so much for getting the saddle here so quickly; I REALLY appreciate it. "

"I'm writing about the Imus 4-Beat Endurance Style Saddle. As soon as I received it, I took the saddle to the facility where my young horse was being trained to see if it fit him and would work for us. The trainer rode it in first and she was very impressed with the way it fit and the ease of movement the horse had using this saddle. I have been riding my young horse (4-yr.-old Missouri Foxtrotter gelding) using this saddle and feel very secure in the seat even when Blackie is hopping up and down, which, thankfully, he doesn't do too often.

There has been no apparent soreness on his back after using the saddle and I don't get any impression of discomfort from him under saddle. I'm also using your saddle pad, so the whole system seems to be comfortable for the horse. It is very comfortable for me, too. The seat is soft and deep and, most importantly, it stays put. It's wonderful not to have a saddle that shifts from side to side. Oh, did I mention that the saddle, in black, is beautiful, too? Thanks for putting out such a great product at such an affordable price."
